Walking Snaps

I could write a book about walking snaps - that particular craze of the 1930s, 40s and 50s of capturing people walking along a holiday street somewhere near the seaside. For many, it was the equivalent of a studio portrait - obtained at a fraction of the cost. This particular "snap" captures my late father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edith and Raymond, in Bangor in the late 1940s.
