Thirty Images Hath September 4

I took this photograph at a Halifax Charity Gala in the mid 1960s. I was probably still at school when I took it, still living in the shadow of geometry diagrams where you had to calculate angles. At the same time I was preparing for a job I had managed to get as a photographer on the local newspaper. As it turned out, I had calculated wrong, not understood all of the angles, and the job fell through. The cyclist, I am glad to say, didn't.
