A Fence For The Tate

A fence Amy and I came upon on one of our walks. The kind of thing you could pack up in a crate and send it to the Tate for display.

This was taken at the wonderful market at Funchal on Madeira. I am not sure what these particular fish were. On the next stall they had some tuna fish which were enormous.

A shop window in Madeira. Hundreds of lottery tickets on display. One assumes that the system is based on just one ticket for each unique number. But do the shops get them on a sale or return basis?

The Evolutionary Battle Field

Just a bit of out of focus, slightly mixed up grass. But there is something about the bends and the curves which gives it a life. It is responding to its environment and adapting its own behaviour to that environment. Nothing soft here, its the evolutionary battlefield.

Seems So Long Ago

Add Nancy to the title and you get a dark, dark Leonard Cohen song. Leave Nancy out and you get nothing more than a look back at our recent holiday which, already, seems so long ago.
