1514 : Drained Cars And Giant Wheelie Bins

BATLEY WAR MEMORIAL : DECEMBER 2016 (1612-030)
I sometimes think that the twin curse of modern times, as far as photographers are concerned, is that of cars and wheelie bins. Both conspire to overpower any scene with their flash metallic colours and utilitarian plastic angularity. In this picture, only by draining the cars of all their colour was the eye free to travel up the stone sets to the war memorial. Even then, the Fox's biscuit factory tried its best to imitate a giant wheelie bin.
