1336 : Becoming Consequential With Time

My friend Heidrun Khokhar asks why I would possibly take a picture of a hole in the ground (see Picture Post 1335). The real answer is that I have no idea, and neither have I any idea why I photographed this nondescript brick terrace forty years ago. But I am glad I did. The inconsequential becomes consequential with time.
