1312 : Seen For The First Time

BRIDGE END UNITED REFORMED CHURCH, BRIGHOUSE : 2 JUNE 2015
Built in 1856 in the Italian style that was popular with the non-conformist community at the time, I must have driven by the former Bridge End Church a hundred times. Today I walked passed it and saw it for the first time.

Could be a bank - or more likely, in these times, a bistro.

A bistro in Brighouse! Don't be silly.

It's a very lovely building, and how wonderful to be seeing it for the very first time. A true treasure for the day.

It is a striking good looking building. We ran into a building looking like this at an abandoned mining town near Cripple Creek, Colorado. It was made by for lodge member's meetings. Most of the town was gone but a building so similar sat out in the open in the mountain area.
