1292 : The Echo Of A Euphonium

SALVATION ARMY CITADEL, CROSS BURGESS STREET, SHEFFIELD

It is fifteen years since any hallelujah rang out through these rafters. The band marched off to new premises in 2000 leaving behind memories, the echo of a euphonium and the empty shell of a listed building. It might sound like sacrilege but ... it would make a good pub.

It might sound like sacrilege but I do admire an honest person who says what he thinks and doesn't be what he isn't! No political correctness here. My husband was in the Salvation Army many years ago. God bless the honest and true.
