View Over Halifax (1960s)
The now demolished mill of Riding Hall Carpets (where I used to work) in the foreground. Halifax Minster in the centre of the photograph.

I should have made provisions to get to Halifax when I went to England a couple of years ago. I could have said I live (3 hours away) from Halifax, Canada and visited the original Halifax in England!! I like your timeline picture with a rose in the snow. There is lots of snow this weekend, it would completely cover a rose. 25cm Friday into Saturday, and now 25-40cm from last night into Sunday!!!

Great urban landscape. The grain of the b&w really suits the subject.
