1134 : Bits And Pieces

The small museum at Santa Barbara Castle at Alicante hit upon a wonderful way of displaying some of the fragments of pottery found on the site. I am almost tempted to adopt a similar approach to the stones I find in my garden although I suspect it wouldn't be half as colourful.

That is a wonderful way to display them. I can't believe that there would be so many different dishes disposed of in the course of a long history. I bet some people could identify age and kinds of some of them. The rock idea is a great idea.

What a fantastic idea. I have been picking up colorful stones all my life and never knew what to do with them. Then they would get thrown out but this is such a good idea -- no worries about trying to make a picture or scene and then scouring around for just the right color. But just a collection of attractive stones set in a pleasing design. Got to do it!

It is indeed a very colorful post Alan! Gives me ideas to do a miniature wall plaque with some bits and pieces I have found along the way.
