Memories don't have to be in focus : indeed the best memories have been blurred by time and then burnished by significance. So here we are, in Paris in 1973. Our honeymoon. The Good Lady Wife takes a brave but watery path in the shadows of the Eiffel Tower.

Are you sure whe wasn't an unwitting participant in a game show?
That's certainly a day to remember. Did the GLW get very wet in there?
Great to have memories, blurred or not..........
Nice! The blurriness actually adds to the shot. Oh yeah, and there's a euphemism for blurriness in the photography world - we call it "soft focus". Heh, heh!

I would say soft wet drenching focus! Look out GWL! You don't have to always obey your Lord and Master when he says "Step forward a bit more, dear, I want to take your portrait"....
These days that walk might be even more perilous - the water jets would probably suddenly veer in another direction!
Is there a follow-on photo? Would love to know what happened next.
I can dig the blurring as my own eyes seem to be doing that more these days anyway. That would be a wet walk. I was up north one time and some clever person put a box of laundry detergent into the fountain. It did add another bubbly dimension.
I agree. LOVELY!
