Around The World In 20 Memories - 15 : Sea And Skye

This photograph was taken in 2006 when I went on a brief trip to the North-West of Scotland. I was staying in Mallaig and caught a ferry over to the Isle of Skye. It was early in the year (April, I think) and still very quiet and peaceful. Gorgeous place.

Gorgeous picture too, Alan. It should be framed and hung on my wall!

That isn't the aftermath of the Great Scottish Tsunami of 2006, is it?

See, I always knew I needed to put the Hebrides on my bucket list. It definitely looks like my kind of place. Great shot, Alan!

Everything in this picture is "picture perfect", starting with the skies down to the shoreline....would love to go there myself.

I left part of my heart up there. Maybe the memories are improved by recalling the many different single malt whiskies consumed whilst in the area!

The tide really does go OUT there.
