Frozen Landscape : In And Out

Old Lane Bradley Looking Towards Huddersfield : 21 December 2010
This is the kind of frozen landscape we live in at the moment. But as of 1.00am this morning - the point when our central heating failed - the frozen landscape is not only outside our windows, it is inside the house as well. Huddled over an electric fan heater trying to think of ways of getting some warmth into his system, your festive blogger spots a bottle of Laphroaig. Happy Christmas all.

Lovely muted tones in this shot Alan, just wondering how the Laphraig will work in the central heating system!

Stunning photo. Hope you get the heating sorted soon - can recommend Damart thermal wear!

I was up at four am this morning thinking I had lost my blower to the furnace. Alas it was user error. I had turned it down very low as we had been having some very warm days. I hope your heat is back by now.

Failed CH is my worst nightmare. Hope you get yours fixed soon. I'm not a whisky drinker, do you think brandy would have the same effect?

Alan I love this photo and as always chuckle at your words. I must have been thinking about your cold chill and you and the misses there as li dreamed about you both last night. Quite funny let me tell you and guess waht? you were tiring of how cold it was INSIDE your house where ice had gathered thick on the windows.

Thinking of you adn wishing you the most joyous, if not too warm Christmas adn Christmas tide.

thank you for being such an amazing blogger, adding your merriment to the xmas Te AGAIN and writing these incredible posts you do. All your blogs are incredible.
