Tricycle Days

This must have been taken somewhere around Brighouse because it appears in a strip of negatives that all feature local Brighouse shots. I can't remember taking it (it must have been almost forty-five years ago) but the road seems strangely familiar. I love the tricycle, perhaps that's what grabbed my attention all those years ago.

I am really enjoying these black and white negatives you've resdiscovered Alan. Thanks for sharing them.

Like Pam, I too am enjoying the showing of old photos. I saw a big tricycle only the other day, more adult size than a child. I wonder if they've made a comeback.

You were a classy photographer even in those days Alan. There's something really atmospheric about these old photos. I'm enjoying them very much.
As to the Settle-Carlisle line - you must try it! Can recommend stopping off in Appleby for a good day out. It's just the right size to enjoy exploring in a day.

The image of the Volkswagen caught my attention. It appears to be a 1963+model because of it's large rear window. It's an interesting contrast to the trike.
