Lovely Place. What More Can You Say?

York Minster last Friday. A rare summer sun warms the stone. Lovely place. What more can you say?

Ah, but we would miss all those moody cloud-filled landscapes.

It is lovely - though there's rarely a time when some part of it isn't covered in scaffolding. (I suppose when I'm that old, I will be!)

Beautiful building and photograph. The Minster is a favourite place to visit, although last time I was in York it was actually closed. I have a postcard picture of the altar cloth designed and made by the Yorkshire WI.

They don't build them like they used to! What incredible architecture, absolutely gorgeous!

Ok, I am going backwards here, I can see where the stones are going to be placed. Neat and complicated looking church.
