Roots

Taken this morning in Judy Woods (which is a place and not a person!). You don't quite get the gradient from this photograph, but the roots sliver down the hillside like rivulets of woody lava.

Awesome photograph Alan. Always a pleasure visiting with you. By the way, my best childhood friend was "Judy Woods!!!"

It's a great photograph Alan. Would you believe I'm lunching with Judy tomorrow, her name was Wood, minus the S in her case.

I think it's one of Tolkien's 'Ents'.

Yes, roots of an old tree that really shows off a lot of character with it's extensions into the woods.
