Typically Burn Road, Huddersfield


I took this picture of this little Yorkshire lane this morning whilst Amy and I were out walking. There was something about the greenness of the grass and the mass of different styles visible in that row of houses. It is nothing special, it is just typical of a thousand little lanes here abouts. Perhaps that is what makes it worth recording.

I don't really think that could be anywhere but Yorkshire. There's more green country up here than people think.

Your typical is so wonderful to see. I could never date the time of your buildings unless I spent a lot of time there studying the styles. What styles we brought over here, are all altered ever have matched them.
