100112 I'm Fed Up Of The Snow

That is it. I've had enough. I am heartily sick of the wretched snow with all its monotonal stringency and its' lack of warmth. No doubt, if I tried, I could take a picture of ice flows floating down the River Calder, but you have seen it all before and, unless you are one of the lucky ones and live in the Antipodes, you probably have similar ice flows floating down a river near you. So here is a picture I took earlier. Full of sun and colour. It's not brilliant, but at least it makes a change.

Colourful I would agree, but I have to question your holiday shopping style.

I love the orderliness of the products on the shelves, not to mention the products themselves. Mmm - soaps and creams. I'm glad you rebelled against frosty conformity, Alan!

I don't think you are alone with your feelings about the snow, I know I've had my fill!
Your picture is a nice break from the world of white.
Keep warm.
Sunny :)

I wish that I could take some your snow. Hang in there it will be spingtime before you know it.

Nice colorful display. I thought it was paint supplies for artists at first.

It is like a tropical paradise with the citrus illustrations on the colorful products. I am sure that it smelled good there also.

I liked this shot, but would love to see the iceflows on the river, too!

Nice picture, Alan. I'm with you in the fed-up stakes.... and still it snows here in the Midlands.

someone needs to get out and find a new pub.

You're too prolific for me, Alan! I can't keep up and I hate to miss anything you do.
Great shot! I could happily spend some time in this shop (which must smell divine, I think) perusing the scented soaps and lotions. Much better than more snow. I do agree.

And what is on your cupboard shelves? Spices it looks like or maybe medicine.

Snow is melting here. We have no rivers near us and no creeks but water does run down the curbs to the storm sewers.
