091221 Blue, Green, Brown and White

A carnival of colour this morning. The clouds parted to expose a wonderful azure blue. The green of the evergreens shone out against the brown of their deciduous cousins. And everything was coated with layer after layer of white snow.

Beautiful, and you're right, it is a carnival of colour.
Merry Christmas.

True enough. Isn't it funny that we find such beauty in the starkness of winter, yet in the summer we take pictures of the burst of color the flowers provide us? Our starving eyes will find beauty if we search it..

As I look out our window here in Missouri and watch the snow, I am left to wonder. . . . . . .
are you ever going to another pub?

Great photo by the way.
