091112 Shepherds Thorn Lane

For a brief time this morning the weather was fair. Amy and I went walking down Shepherds Thorn Lane. But by the time we got home the clouds were closing in and the rain has come down ever since.

Wow...look how narrow it is, with no shoulders on the side of the road!
Very quaint!

Lovely photo Alan. It reminds me of those narrow roads that Hyacinth and Richard Bucket used to drive down in "Keeping Up Appearances" with Hyacinth intoning..."Oh Do be careful Richard!".

Yep, you are having fall weather too. It is dismal and gray here also, and I need to get the leaves mulched. A high of 58 degrees f. today.
I am going to get a chart printed out so I can go C. just for you. I will work on that.

I wonder what's round the corner! That's what I always think when I see pictures like this. Rained heavily here and the promise is that tomorrow will be horrendous, gale force and lashing with rain.

What a lovely spot to talk a walk, I love country lanes. That's a wonderful old tree.
