090919 Canal Walk

Amy's walk this morning was along the canal towpath in Mirfield (about a couple of miles from where we live). The sun was shining and there were boats out on the canal. A thoroughly pleasant morning.

What a real nice shot, something about canals and a different pace of life. Is that an old mill building in the left background?

Thank you Sunny and John.
John : Yes it is an old mill building but, like many of the old mills around here, it was converted into flats during the housing boom. I don't think I object to such conversions - before old mills became popular as flats they were just pulled down.

Water always seems to make for a good photo.

Great shot of so many different canal boats. That is a very colorful boat in the front. It is pleasant to watch things floating on the water reflecting in the water. Have a good Sunday.

I always imagine life to be tranquil on a barge. Lovely picture Alan.
