090825 Blue Ball, Norland

It was a lovely morning this morning and I made a unilateral decision that Amy and I would take our walk in Norland which is a few miles from where we live. It is high on the top of the valley with glorious views over Halifax and Sowerby Bridge. The white building in the middle distance is the Blue Ball Inn which I am determined to add to my Great Yorkshire Pubs blog before the month is over.

My city views this morning were not nearly as charming as this! I know where I would rather be.

Beautiful to be sure. I have never seen much to equal this scene over here.

Pleasant view, Alan. I noted the conservatory on the house, sort of old and new.

Alan, I can't help it, but every time I see pictures like this of my beloved home land, I choke up. Beautiful! Enjoy your walks...
